"The Bowen technique; a healing, often miraculous, life changing hands-on-therapy which seems to be revolutionizing the healthcare world." The Daily Mail

The Bowen Technique is a hands-on remedial therapy which is exceptionally effective for people who are in pain or discomfort. It was developed on the 1950's by Tom Bowen in Australia as a muscular skeletal therapy and has now become a popular therapy of health professionals including physiotherapists.

Bowen  is a very gentle therapy which releases tension in muscles and nerve endings which triggers the body to make adjustments and rebalance itself. The Bowen therapist makes small, rolling type moves over the skin at very precise junctions of the muscles, ligaments and tendons, which unconsciously connects the brain to the source of the problem.

Research shows that 80% of clients respond well to Bowen Technique  and due to it's simplicity, it is suitable for all ages including babies and the elderly. It can also be used throughout pregnancy.

Athletes, dancers, rugby players use the Bowen Tecnique to increase flexibility and reduce muscle pain and fatigue which helps to prevent injury.

Bowen can help with

  • Back Pain and Sciatica
  • Neck and Shoulder Problems (including whiplash)
  • Sports Injuries
  • Tennis and Golfers Elbow
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Migraine and Headaches

When booking a Bowen Technique Treatment for the first time, it is recommended that you plan to have 3 treatments approximately one week apart.

Bowen Technique is currently being advertised at Rugby League games.
